Autumn is here finally!
It finally got cold enough to need jeans and a sweatshirt in socal. I was ecstatic, of course my poor children other than the baby were in a scramble as they had no jeans to wear that fit. That happens sometimes when the weather goes from 105 to 55 seemingly overnight. If you spoke to my eldest you would have sworn it was going to snow right here in the foothills, as it was it only snowed at the very tippy top of the local mountains. But it did finally get me in the mood for halloween and make me realize it will be here before I know it and we are not at all prepared. Autumn is such a fun time to take photos, here are some autumn images I like ....
They grow so fast....Brooklyn Grace
I did not have a blog at the time I did this newborn shoot for a dear friend and her sweetie pie Brooklyn. So I thought I would revisit how little she was now that she is almost 6 mos old! I am sure her family is amazed at how quickly she is growing already.
My eldest just turned 13 and believe me there is a time when you look back and do not remember how sweet they smelled and how lovely their skin felt up against yours, how tiny their little hands and feet were in yours. Time sure does fly and it is important to remember to capture all the small details to look back on wether through a professional or your own camera . Please promise me in some way to document their sweet beginnings and I promise you that you will look back at these heart felt memories and cry happy tears one day!
I hope you enjoy looking back on this sweet lil baby girl and think of your own lil bundles of joy when they were teeny tiny....

I had a blog on blogger I think and it takes me forever to post. I had a website thru my mac and they did not provide iweb on my new mac! So I guess I am testing the waters to see how this blog works.
Since it is a photo blog here are some summer photos! I have a love hate relationship with summer I love for it to come and then reality hits- all five kids are home all day complaining they are bored and I can get nothing done. No shoots, no housework, no editing etc. well my house about falls to pieces but there is a lot to be said for not having to run little ones and not so little ones to school and back all day long. So there is the good an bad of it all....
